Since 1990, the VillaggioCarovana holiday home has been hosting schools and young people, promoting educational projects centred around dynamic group play.

Working with young people has been the focus of the staff of VillaggioCarovana since 1990.  They have taken part to many work camps  both in Italy and abroad, worked in refugee camps and war zones. In Sardinia, Cooperativa La Carovana promoted the use of nonviolent training methods within broader projects to promote peace, which have later been adopted by many schools as part of diverse projects spanning intercultural learning, environmental awareness and relational learning.

Villaggiocarovana offers schools and groups of young guests a range of educational projects centred on group dynamics.  By employing the training methodology in educational games involving both teachers and kids,  new knowledge and experimentation unfolds.

• Brai-Loi organic farm of medicinal plants: awakening the senses – identifying the mediterranean medicinal herbs and their use
• Codonesu sheep farm and cheese making: caring for sheep and cheese making
• The old jail museum: history of  Castiadas and surroundings, land reclamation by the convicts, farming, cattle and tourism
• Trekking at the forest of S'acqua Callenti to discover its flora and fauna
