Eating and Drinking

The VillaggioCarovana kitchen favours simple and tasty meals, and special attention is paid to our guest’s individual dietary needs or food intolerances.
Our kitchen is not operated by chefs or professionals. Food is lovingly cooked according to the fixed menu – which can always be adapted to any special need. We ask our guests to alert us in advance of any food intolerance or special dietary need. We often propose vegetarian meals, gluten free meals, or special meals for the very young guests. Our food is prepared with high quality ingredients sourced directly from the local producers. Our passion for intercultural learning and exchange is reflected in our cooking: not only everybody helps set up and clear the table, but we blend our family cooking traditions with recipes we learned from our international friends and guests.

We use fair trade products, such as cafè rebelde zapatista for breakfast coffee, Equik and more. We drink water from the tap and always offer local wine as part of the meals. Locally produced olive oil can be tasted in the village. Guest can freely use a dedicated fridge.
