Each one of us has special needs. At the VillaggioCarovana holiday home all the barriers come down: those that are made of concrete but especially  those in our minds.

We are all people with special needs. This is the foundation of  social tourism.

At VillaggioCarovana we avoid any architectural feature that may hinder access to wheelchairs.  Our key goal is then to break down the cultural features that still hinder integration.   VillaggioCarovana provides an ideal place for personal growth through friendship and exchange.  Different people get together and meet, each carrying his/ her own special needs and offering his/ her own unique assets to all the others.

We like to say that “when you get close enough, nobody is normal”

VillaggioCarovana aims to be a place where people get “…close enough”.  Overcoming language and cultural barriers, people meet and communicate despite the different personal history, the potential diffidence or hidden fears.  Our goal is to facilitate this process.  Our coop is made up of professional social workers who believe this is the cornerstone for living in peace.

In practice, there is no single recipe to achieve this.  We start by catering for the special needs of each of our guests.  We encourage you to flag your special needs already with your booking, as you fill in your booking form

Our legal status requires our guests to be members of non profit institutions or associations.  You can register with the Re.O.S. Association as you book.
